Day 1 - Golden Triangle India Holidays (Arrival at Delhi)A warm welcome by golden triangle india inc, on your arrival in India at New Delhi's international airport. Your holiday tour begins with transfer to a comfortable budget or luxury hotel. You relax for a while followed by a small briefing on golden triangle india holidays package tour. If time permits we take you for a small visit to the city center. Overnight stay in New Delhi.Day 2 - Sightseeing tour of Old and New DelhiYour breakfast will be served in the hotel. Later we make arrangements for a full-day sight seeing tour of delhi and adjoining area. We take you for a visit to old Delhi, several shopping locations, historical monuments, old forts, modern architectures and more. Overnight stay will be in New Delhi. Day 3 - New Delhi - Agra (Taj Mahal)Early in the morning after a healthy breakfast, we commence our journey towards Agra. A visit to Sikandra ( mugal emperor Akbar's mausoleum ) on the way. Later in Agra, we check in to a comfortable hotel followed by a small briefing on your golden triangle holiday's package next itinerary. We relax for a while and then we take you to one of the seven wonders of the world -Taj Mahal. Take your time to appreciate the beauty of Taj. Later after this mesmerising visit, we drive you back to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay in Agra.Day 4 - Drive to Jaipur (The Pink City)Enjoy a healthy morning breakfast. We then drive to jaipur, the pink city. It is called the "Pink City" because of the unusual color of the stone used for construction, many buildings are also painted in pink. We make an small excursion to the historical city of Fatehpur Sikri on the way. Built by indian emperor Akbar as his capital is now a deserted town frozen in the same era. Fatehpur Sikri has many historical wonders and monuments such as the huge Buland Darwaza - largest entrance gate anywhere in the world, the beautifully carved tomb of Salim Chaysti, a famous Sufi saint. Then on we drive towards Jaipur. On reaching we check in to our hotel. Relax a while and leave for evening shopping and a visit to the city (it's a delight to shop in the evening markets of Jaipur). Our overnight stay in Jaipur.Day 5 - Jaipur - DelhiAfter a healthy morning breakfast, we proceed for an excursion to jaipur's Amber Fort. This beautifully constructed complex of palaces, halls, pavilions, gardens and temples is located 11 km's on the northern side of Jaipur. We enjoy an elephant's ride at the premises of majestically beautiful Amer fort. Later after lunch we make a picturesque drive to Delhi. On reaching, we board a comfortable flight to south of India.Day 6 - Flight - Delhi - Chennai (city with world's second biggest sea shore)Transfer to budget (3-4 star hotels) or luxury facility (Le Meridien) as per the budget and choice made. Overnight stay in hotel.Day 7 - Chennai - ThiruvananthapuramMorning after breakfast a short excursion to the city and beaches in chennai. Comfortable drive to Thiruvananthapuram. Transfer to an ayurvedic beach resort of your choice.(can go for ayurvedic treatments if needed)Day 8 - Ayurvedic Beach Holiday ResortAfter a busy travelling schedule in the north of India, relaxing and enjoying the facilities at the Ayurvedic Beach Holiday Resort in a pleasant climate of south India. Includes private beaches, yoga sessions, ayurvedic herbal massages, nature walks, classical indian music and south indian dance performances in an open air stage. We also visit a local traditional village.Day 9 - Ayurvedic Beach Holiday ResortA day more to relax in the beach holiday resort. One can even go for several ayurvedic procedures as full body ayurvedic massage with traditional ayurvedic herbal oils, herbal steam bath, shirodhara sessions e.t.c.Day 10 - Backwaters of KeralaFrom the ayurvedic beach holiday resort, we make a picturesque drive (72 kms/2.30 hrs) through cities and villages in kerela to board a private house boat on the backwaters. Then on we cruise through narrow channels and wide water bodies and lakes. Enjoy the scenic beauty of nature around, vast paddy fields, coconut Jungles, small huts and villages. Meals and overnight stay on the Kerela houseboats.Day 11 - Backwaters in Kerala - CochinNext morning onwards after a relaxing breakfast in the houseboats, we drive to Cochin (62 Kms/ 1 hr-30 min). We then check into our hotel (The Taj Mallabar) overlooks the harbor with sea facing rooms. Relax for while and we take you for excursion to the city (Palaces, Museums, Kathakali dance performances at the cultural center in Cochin). Dinner in a traditional Kerala restaurant with a choice of several south indian cuisines.Day 12 - Periyar (wildlife sanctuary)A visit to Periyar wildlife sanctuary, home to bisons, antelopes, sambar, wild boars, monkeys, langurs, barking deers, mouse deer, dholes, elephants and a wide variety of birds including the great Malabar horn-bill. A comfortable stay in hotel Taj Garden Retreat.Day 13 - Periyar - Madurai (one of the oldest cities in india)Spend your morning relaxing at Periyar . An afternoon drive to Madurai (one of the oldest cities in India - famous for it's temples). An idle and leisurely walk through the city during evening. A comfortable stay in Hotel Taj Garden Retreat - Madurai.Day 14 - Madurai SightseeingFull day sightseeing. A visit to several temples and old monuments. Your stay in Hotel Taj Garden Retreat - Madurai.Day 15 - Madurai - MadrasA pleasant drive to Madras. After check into your hotel, a full day sightseeing and shopping tour in Madras.Day 16 - Madras - New Delhi (Golden Triangle India Holidays)After a relaxed morning breakfast, we fly back to Delhi. A visit to the city and various shopping locations. Later we make your transfer arrangement to board a return flight.
